Marriage of Peter Deveau age 60 born Arichat, son of Francis Deveau and A Deveau, and Christy Murphy age 35 born Big Entraval (sic), daughter of John Murphy and M Murphy. Although the fathers recorded for Peter and Christy differ from the Devoe-DeVaux Family History, it is reasonable to believe John Brooks Devoe's conclusion this is the second marriage of Peter deVaux, son of Joseph deVaux and Anne LeBlanc.
