Notes |
- In Boloney Bushey's (sic) Land Petition in 1804, he states his "family consists of three boys and two girls".
In the 1811 Census of Arichat, Benonit Bouche resides with 2 Males 14 to 60, 1 Female 14 to 60, 2 Males and Females over 60 (one of whom is Benonit), and 2 Unmarried Males and Females. Joseph Bouche is listed immediately below Benonit Boucher in the 1811 Census, and it is reasonable to believe this Joseph is also Benonit's son.
In the 1813 Militia Roll for Greater Arichat, Belony Bouche age 67 resides with 1 Woman, no Boys, and no Girls. As well, Joseph age 32, Belony age 67, Honoré age 20, and John age 18 are listed together, and separate from the other Bouche's. It is reasonable to believe Joseph, Honoré, and John are Belony's three sons. Honoré and John are likely the 2 Unmarried Males and Females in the 1811 Census of Benonit Bouche's family as both Honoré and John are unmarried in the 1813 Militia Roll (i.e. they reside with no Women, no Boys, and no Girls).
