Pierre Bernard and Paul Bernard are known to be sons of Joseph Bernard and Marie-Josèphe Gaudet through their marriages to Anne Gaudet and Marguerite Gaudet respectively according to the Dictionnaire Généalogique des Familles Acadiennes 1636-1714 Page 682. The 1760 Census of Restigouche also identifies Joseph Bernard as the son of Joseph Bernard. So, all of the Bernard's recorded in the 1760 Census of Restigouche belong to the same family.
Ancestry's Acadia, Canada, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1670-1946 records the baptism of Marie Joseph (sic), daughter of Joseph Bernard and Marie Godet (sic), in 1744 in Beaubassin.
As the 1760 Census of Restigouche records Joseph Bernard's family as consisting of 9 people, it is reasonable to believe Marie Josèphe Bernard also accompanied her father to Restigouche and it is she who married François Placide Bujeaud.
